Have you heard of Cornhole? No, not
that cornhole...the game
Cornhole. This simple but addictive game has really taken off here in North Carolina, especially at football tailgates and NASCAR races.
As Josh Shaffer describes in his
article about Cornhole, it is "Easier than horseshoes. More portable than pingpong. Mindless fun that satisfies like a loud belch."
And, believe it or not, in the summer of 2008,
Cornhole: The Movie is coming out.
We personally encountered the buzz about Cornhole when we met Debbie Mills in Apex, NC, and she said, "You guys should write a song about Cornhole." Sometimes that's all it takes. So whether you consider yourself a Cornhole aficionado or not, we hope you'll enjoy the Cornhole Song.

this game started in Kentucky/Ohio and every year they hold a national tournament in Cincinnati. my family, we play it every get together and we have trophies for it lol.

My mom's side of the family is from Cinncinnatti, Ohio so naturally it is a big sport in our family. At the Christmas get together the other day we set up our cornhole boards in the front yard and watched as the people driving by just stared at us in confusion. I partnered with my mom and won every game until we were forced to throw left-handed. My Uncle Stu set up what he calls "house rules" which we spend a lot of the time trying to convince him that if you go over 21 points, you don't have to restart at 0 points. I love the game and the song you guys made. keep it up.
