Our adventures thus far on the Alka Seltzer Great American Road Trip have yielded mucho good times...the cities and sites are a carload of fun and the food (of course) is satisfyingly interesting...but it's the people we meet along the way that prove to be most memorable.
Our stop in Davis, California led us to Dream Follower and Cedar Boy. No, this is not a comic book dynamic duo (at least not yet---hint, hint Brian Nash), it's two characters at the Whole Earth Festival!
Pleae pass this along to anyone who may be interested!
NOTE: If you've got a digg account and you're open to being part of a small but dedicated "Digg Team" to digg occasional videos, please email us here with the subject line DIGG TEAM. Thanks.
Ever been to a Whole Earth Festival, eaten seaweed salad, or gone trick-or-treating as a court jester? Leave a comment!
You guys are CRAZY!!!!

LMAO.
Link looks like a court jester. Rhett looks more like a very tall elf.
...and I agree that you two should introduce yourself as Link's Connections and Rhettwood.

im sorry but i dont like the fact that u visited a hippy camp. if u are going to do that, u should have visited a U.S. Army, Navy, Marine, Coast Guard - anything to compinsate that.

BTW, that woman Rhett talked to and asked what she would do if she could hop int othe painting was on Dateline (I saw it because it was 11 pm and I was bored)
She can apparently find self-peace with herself.

Craziness, Man! Please tell me that Link bought that cool tie-dye shirt with the heart on it! Was that a flash of panic I saw on Link's face after he took a bite of that seaweed salad? And all those years playing power forward on the basketball team came in handy, NICE shots with those AlkaSeltzer tablets, Rhett! ;) But maybe it would have helped Link out if you'd dropped those AlkaSeltzers in that green beverage...shudder! This video was FAR OUT!
Mrs.C aka Mamacitax7 · Jul 2, 2008 12:12pm
Wow. My alltime favorite video so far. Did you keep the elf hat? Priceless. Good job Rhettwood & Links Connections.
Melanie (cdn_watermelon) · Jul 2, 2008 11:44am
you guys should totally introduce yourselves in your live show as rhettwood and link's connections. that would make my day.
G-Reg_Hippo · Jul 2, 2008 11:35am
love the video ... and wonder what those green edibles tasted like ...
theMostlyHarmless · Jul 2, 2008 11:33am
Interesting....

I was in a community art class as a kid and the instructor had us all eat a piece of sea weed as part of some cultural awareness component. I thought I blocked that memory out. Thanks for making me relive the aftertaste!
Cheryl · Jul 2, 2008 11:19am

haha · Jul 2, 2008 10:55am
Oh my goodness! That was out of this world....literally! I think this was the best in the series yet.
Cameron · Jul 2, 2008 10:53am
That has to be the Coolest Alka-Seltzer Effervescent Moment yet!
CookieBuche · Jul 2, 2008 10:51am
